Starting our search over a year ago, our next brother was the reward and finding him was on the bill. More than just an addition to a band, Vague-us demanded a brother, not just a musician. The search was un-yielding and patience grew thin. A new member for this vicious rock-n-roll cult was yet to be found..... Then..... without warning “A Bassist” kicked down the door and floored us. We had to have him.
Vague-Us is glad to welcome Justin Barker as one of us. Arming the bass cannons, Justin studied music at the Raleigh Music Academy and is affiliated with the likes of Ron Thal (Bumblefoot, Guns and Roses guitarist). He started guitar at 14, idolizing Eddie Van Halen and later Randy Rhoads before rooting his interests in the “metal-world”. Now stepping into the shoes of “Vague-Us”, he was quoted saying “Getting into a band like Vague-Us has been a goal since I started playing.”
