2005 : THE BEGINNING

In late 2004, Chuck Galantis and long time musician/friend Chris Renn felt compelled into making music again after a long haitus. They started writing common thread, mainstream type music, much different from their more metal and hardcore roots from earlier days. After a few rounds of auditions, the group was complete and VagueUs was born. Inspired by the newly found attraction of a growing public of fans, Vague-Us set out as any other band to write and perform for the people who they love and who matter the most...their dedicated fans. Still just a baby by any measure of time or experience, they landed a spot as a semi-finalist in the 2005 Zippo Hot Tour. This single event launched Vague-Us to the next level, gaining fanbase and recognition in the Raleigh, NC area and eventually opening spots for such regional acts as Echovalve of Atlanta, GA. In essence, the Vague-Us style focuses on heavy-driven rhythms layered under vocal harmonies to create an aggressive but melodic sound aligned for todays mainstream rock scene. Listeners of all tastes can appreciate this new face of hard rock. By end of 2006, Vague-Us has compiled a choice of songs to take into the studio to record their virgin CD.

2007 : RESURGENCE
The year has brought maturity, fame, and change...all of which have their bright and dark sides. Kicking off 2007 with a 2 week stint at Cary's Boneyard Studio, then facing the departure of good friend and fellow member, Joe Verga, the band had to detour and focus more on business than the music. But, just as Vague-Us rose from a mere thought to a fan favorite almost overnight, the band continued to look to their fans for support and confidence...and it has shown. Following an explosive response at their premiere show of the year at the Longbranch in Raleigh, the fans proved that Vague-Us continues strong. Now with old friend Jeremy Jones commanding the spotlight and plans to wrap-up the current CD, 2007 will prove to be the best year yet!
